Responsible for promoting the Baylor University Staff Endowed Scholarship, organizing the sale & distribution of BU-branded items to Faculty & Staff, and managing any staff service efforts to the wider Baylor community.

Constitution and By-Laws Committee

Responsible for reviewing the Constitution and By-Laws for possible revisions; Develops revision proposals to be reviewed by Executive Council and approved by membership.

Marketing and Communications Committee

Researches information, formulates creative presentation ideas, provides updates as needed; strives to see that the website is regularly updated and user friendly, and provides easily accessible educational information on staff policies and procedures; informs the university about the Staff Council's mission and activities..

Membership Committee [4 + ExOfficio (Secretary)]

Ensures that membership distribution of the Staff Council is representative of the University Staff according to the Constitution and By-Laws; conducts the voting process for call for nominations and vote on new members; presents slate of nominations to Executive Council and membership for approval; reviews absences from scheduled meetings for excessiveness.

Outstanding Staff Committee [7 + ExOfficio (Chair)]

A joint effort with Human Resources (“HR”). The Staff Council Chair and the Manager of Learning & Development in HR serve as ex-officio members of the committee to select the award winners for the year. Staff Council appoints seven members, and HR appoints two previous award winners to form the committee voting body.

Staff Flourishing Committee
